Elijah Thompson, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, specializing in trauma-informed, relational therapy for child, adolescent, and adult clients. A graduate of New York University, Elijah’s professional focus area extends to the intersection of public health, social welfare, and policy. Elijah has extensive leadership and administrative experience guiding colleagues, employees, and stakeholders alike to coordinate the delivery of clinical services in key areas of need, in a variety of settings. Through heightened awareness of social, cultural, and professional dynamics, Elijah seeks to foster a safe and productive environment, nurturing growth through collaboration.

Jennifer Vasquez holds a PhD in Social Work, is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-S), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), EMDR Certified Therapist and CIT, ISP Practitioner, International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT-C) Certified Yoga Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with a specialization in trauma. Dr. Vasquez serves as Chair of the NASW-TX Women’s Rights Committee, is an NASW member, and member of the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR), Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SETI), US Association of Body Psychotherapists (USABP), and the Texas Society for Clinical Social Work. She brings over 15 years of practice experience in the fields of interpersonal violence, addiction, and healthcare into her work with clients and supervisees, using a relational cultural approach and strengths perspective. Dr. Vasquez is an Assistant Professor at Texas State University School of Social Work, where her research focuses on yoga therapy, trauma, and addiction. Chantal (she/he/they) is a licensed social worker and contemplative psychotherapist practicing in Texas with considerable experience in crisis intervention, peace and social justice, disability rights, advocacy and working with vulnerable populations. Chantal has won numerous awards for commitment to volunteer service and is a two-time AmeriCorps alumnus, having served with both NCCC (the National Civilian Community Corps) and VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America). As a certified trauma professional they have worked extensively with persons who have experienced physical, emotional and/or sexual trauma. Chantal is trained in multiple modalities of trauma-focused therapy and works to integrate trauma theory, mindfulness, and somatic psychology. Areas of focus include long-term triggers of stress, including traumatic events, as well as conditions such as anxiety and depression and other issues related to relationships, and communication. Treatment areas of expertise and training include anger management, boundaries, codependency, forms of abuse (physical, emotional/psychological and sexual), harm reduction, complex trauma and LGTBQIA2S+ issues. Chantal's work is inspired by the tremendous transformation and healing they experienced through meditation, therapy, mind-body approaches and integrative healing practices. In session they take an approach informed by integrating perspectives from neuroscience, trauma research and psychotherapy, as well as meditation and breathwork practices. Ali Cooper is a Licensed Master Social Worker. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington & Texas State University, Ali works with clients to address a variety of issues including but not limited to trauma and PTSD, secondary trauma in helping professionals, grief, depression, substance use, anxiety, and stress. Ali has an extensive background in providing crisis intervention services and mental health support to youth, adults, and helping professionals. She approaches the therapeutic relationship through a trauma focused lens, often utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused Theory, and mindfulness. Ali is a member of the National Association of Social Workers –Texas Chapter, and has served as an ongoing volunteer for almost 3 years. She has robust experience in leading clinicians and mental health providers; supporting clients, co-workers, and staff alike. In addition to the work she loves to do with her clients, Ali has been involved in initiatives to address access to basic needs for Texans as well as improving gaps in the child welfare system. Jasmine Davis is a first-year foundation Master of Social Work student at the University of Texas at Arlington and is an intern at Inspired Practice. She is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She specializes in working with children and families. In addition, she is an advocate for criminal justice reform and rehabilitation of those impacted by the criminal justice system. She has conducted research on parental incarceration and how it affects children’s wellbeing in their adulthood. Her therapeutic approach uses a combination of solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and partners with clients to help them reach their goals and develop their full potential using a client-centered, humanistic approach. Jasmine enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new restaurants, and going to parks with her fur baby during free time. Jasmine’s experiences and passion for service to others has led her to pursue a career in social work as a therapist. She holds an undergraduate degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin. Niomi specializes in working with adults and adolescents, addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. In her therapeutic practice, Niomi employs a combination of trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and mindfulness techniques. This multifaceted approach is designed to empower her clients in their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Niomi enjoys helping individuals understand and improve their interpersonal relationships, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and healthy dynamics. Her experience includes working with those involved in the criminal justice and child welfare systems, guiding them through the stresses and challenges associated with these environments. She’s committed to fostering resilience and promoting personal growth in her clients through holistic and client-centered methods.

Jessica Butler is a Licensed Master Social Worker practicing in the Houston, Texas area. Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois Jessica moved to Houston Texas in 2015 and graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston in 2017. Since beginning her Social Work profession, Jessica has worked with clients to address issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, school issues, parenting, and trauma. Jessica has a background in providing cognitive behavioral, solution focused brief therapy, client centered, and integrative therapy; as well as motivational interviewing with individuals, adolescents, couples, and groups. Jessica’s approach to therapy is one in which she believes the patient is the expert and in the driver’s seat at all times, she is simply the GPS. Working with Jessica, you will feel empowered to make choices that will better your life and also give you a place to ultimately be your authentic self whether you consider yourself to be a Lion or a Lamb.

Rebaca Prince has extensive experience working with patients with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Major Depression, Bipolar, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Rebaca works with patients recovering from a mental health crisis. She is a Solution Focused Therapist and uses Client Centers approaches in the therapeutic milieu. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to aid the patient in finding balance from within themselves and their environment. Rebaca Prince holds a License Master of Social Work. She gained her degree from the University of Southern California and her Undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas. She also has extensive experience in Case Management. Mrs. Prince practices within the Houston Metroplex and so with her you will get a resource guide, an advocate, and a therapist. Rebaca enjoys her volunteering as the Director of Childrens Ministries at her church and spending time with her family traveling and camping. Rebaca is excited to join this practice and looking forward to building rapport with you.
