What is Deep Democracy?

Deep Democracy is an advanced facilitation toolkit for leaders, managers, consultants, teachers and facilitators – anyone who wants to work more effectively with teams where conflict and tensions slow progress. At its core, it is a cutting edge facilitation and conflict resolution methodology that is pragmatic and easily acquired. Training

In May 2008, Options for Success Inc. and iNSPiRED PRACTiCE co-hosted White & Yellow Belt training for 11 members of the Winnipeg community.  We will continue our commitment to self development and capacity building in Winnipeg by co-hosting more training in the future.

The basic assumption of Deep Democracy is that there is enormous wisdom and value in conflicting opinions. From this starting point, true and deep buy-in can be built. This approach creates consensus which recognizes and includes the wisdom inherent in minority views, rather than ignoring it or overriding it.
